Help Black Men and Boys Thrive in Education
Black Men Teach is building a nationwide network where Black men and boys feel seen, heard and valued. We are not London-centric. Through regional, virtual and hybrid opportunities, our support is accessible to communities across the UK.
We Support Black Male Educators Through:

- Wellbeing and holistic nourishment
- Networking and a strong sense of community
- Safe spaces to connect, recharge and grow
- Support to remain and thrive in the profession
We Support Black Boys Through Bridge Mentoring
Bridge Mentoring is our free, holistic and hybrid programme for 30 Black boys in Years 10–12 each year.
The programme supports key transitions into GCSEs, post-16 education and future pathways. Each young person receives:
- Free academic tuition
- Monthly mentoring and coaching
- Personal development workshops
- Educational and cultural trips
- Career and university exposure
- A positive, supportive community
Support Us with £10–£20 Per Month
Your monthly contribution will help us:
- Reach more Black men and boys across the UK
- Keep Bridge Mentoring free for young people
- Fund tuition, mentoring, resources and trips
- Provide CPD, training and wellbeing opportunities for educators
- Support more Black male educators to remain in the profession
- Recognise and remunerate the volunteers and facilitators carrying BMT’s message of thriving into schools and communities nationwide
