A Black Boys' Community
A Black Boys’ Community is a safe, empowering virtual space designed to support the emotional, social, and developmental needs of Black boys. Each session explores a dedicated theme—in this case, transitional phases—helping boys navigate key moments in their lives with confidence, cultural grounding, and guidance. The community promotes open dialogue, positive identity formation, and connection with peers and supportive adults.
Take the Stage
Black Men Take The Stage is a flagship conference designed to amplify the expertise and voices of Black male educators. The event brings Black men to the forefront of educational spaces, providing a platform for them to lead CPD workshops across curriculum, teaching & learning, pastoral care, safeguarding, and more. It celebrates excellence, leadership, and representation, while empowering the wider workforce to learn from lived experience and professional insight.
Educators Wellbeing Retreat
The BMT Wellbeing Retreat offers educators a transformative blend of professional development and self care. Designed to help attendees recharge, connect, and elevate their practice, the retreat combines CPD workshops, keynote sessions, and restorative wellbeing activities. With a focus on leadership, curriculum, and pastoral development, the retreat provides space for Black educators to reconnect with purpose while nurturing their mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
Fundraiser
An engaging fundraising event designed to support the ongoing work of Black Men Teach CIC. The fundraiser will bring together supporters, partners, and community members to celebrate impact, share stories, and raise essential funds to expand programmes that uplift and support Black educators and young people.
Connect Calls
BMT Connect Calls are designed to harness the power of connection within the Black Men Teach community. These regular online sessions give educators the opportunity to share, reflect and stay connected, while learning from diverse perspectives and lived experiences across the profession.
Each Connect Call offers a supportive and inclusive space that values the richness of different journeys, backgrounds, and opinions. We welcome ALL educators to attend.
